Located in the Westlake Neighborhood

The Westlake area has been experiencing a resurgence and new growth over the past ten years. The Paseo at Californian stands on the site of The Hotel Californian, which opened in 1925 and was a popular hotel in the Westlake area.

Mission Style

Designed by PSL Architects in a classic mission style, Paseo is both sophisticated and elegant.

The Paseo at Californian features ample open space and a community terrace overlooking the city. The building also provides for a fully furnished community room and computer learning center as well as a play area for children. Atop the building is the second oldest neon sign in Los Angeles, “Hotel Californian,” which was rescued from Griffith Park, restored and remounted to pay tribute to the historic structure which was originally constructed here in 1927.
